 Why Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes Are The Best Gruul Commander

Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes. Legendary Planeswalker - Minsc. Two generic mana, one red mana, one green mana. Enters with three loyalty counters. When Minsc and Boo, Timeless Heroes enters the battlefield and at the beginning of your upkeep, you may create Boo, a legendary 1/1 red hamster creature token with trample and haste. Add one loyalty counter: put three plus one plus one counters on up to one target creature with trample or haste. Subtract two loyalty counters: sacrifice a creature. When you do, Minsc and Boo, Timeless Heroes deals X damage to any target, where X is that creature's power. If the sacrificed creature was a hamster, draw X cards. Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes can be your commander.
    Gruul (the color combination of red and green) has always been notorious for making creatures really big, really fast, and punching your opponents in the face with them. A combat heavy strategy can work in the commander format of Magic: the Gathering, but Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes takes it to the next level.
    
    Minsc & Boo not only care about making big creatures to throw at your opponents, but they do the best thing in Magic: The Gathering: they let you draw cards. A BUNCH OF CARDS. If you choose to sacrifice a hamster creature to Minsc & Boo's second loyalty ability, the damage dealt will also give you that many cards. These two make a hamster on every one of your turns, meaning you'll always have a hamster. 
    Not only will you always have a token of Boo to fling, but Minsc & Boo's first loyalty ability will let you make that hamster three times bigger. There are plenty of cards throughout MtG that will let you double or even triple your creatures' power. Cards like Berserk, Invigorate, Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and so on will make Boo big enough to one-shot an opponent and draw your entire library! 
    Red and green are also good colors for haste and trample, just in case Boo is removed and you want to put those +1/+1 counters on something else. Gruul contains a few changeling creatures as well, which count as hamsters because they are all creature types.

 The New, Digital Classroom   Change is Inevitable     Digital technology is evolving at such a rapid rate, that it would be a disservice to not teach students about it. One article I found, published in 2015, surveyed 12 language teachers and 10 4th-grade students on their opinions of technology in the classroom. Every 4th-grade student being surveyed had computers, tablets, phones, Fakebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. They are well-equated with digital media and devices with Internet access.  Nidhogg ( Níðhöggr )     God of War  Ragnarök offers players a chance to ally with (and more importantly fight) some of the most important gods and creatures in Norse mythology. Although getting killed by Thor just to have him bring you back to life because he's not done playing is pretty amazing, the fight with Nidhogg (need-hog) really takes the cake.     Until this boss-fight, I had never heard of this extremely important creature in Norse mythology. Nidhogg is a dragon who gnaws at the roots of Yggrasil (The World Tree), which keeps the Nine Realms intact. By chewing its roots, Nidhogg is instilling chaos and attempting to destroy the cosmos.
